4421 2nd Street Bridge Replacement

Getting set up for pile driving  Starting to drive pile Setting up at bent 1 for preboring 

Coring and cutting getting ready to cut existing wall for bent 2 Finally finished hole with buried wing wall moving onto last hole for bent 2.

Still working on prebore for bent 2 Removing cut wall for bent 1 Breaking concrete for old wing wall beneath the ground in order to prebore hole Cutting face of existing end bent 2 Continue with prebore for bent 2 Still preboring at bent 2 Finished for the night. 7’ deep

Continue with prebore for bent 2 Cutting and core slab finishing end bent 1 Starting to place pile in bored holes Hole 6 complete with prebore 2 left at bent 

End bents excavated, coring and cutting on the west side sawing existing wall for end bent Boring machine arrived on site started to bore pile holes Finished the day with 2 holes completed 

Contractor has removed existing bridge deck setting up for prebore and then pile driving
